After 11 years of leading the Company, Paul Drage, the founder of RGL has sold his shares in the business to long-standing management team members Roger Hurst and Ross Olifent. Roger and Ross look forward to continuing to operate RGL in the same way it has been successfully managed since 1999.
The RGL management team has expanded to include Stephen Chibnall who has been promoted to a Business Manager role, managing the Transmission team. New to RGL is Judith Marshall who comes from a telecommunications management background. In her role as Business Manager – Support, Judith is responsible for RGL’s Engineering team as well as customer contract support.
New Building
RGL has recently completed a new building extension to its facility. The new building provides an additional 850m2 of operational, materials handling, office, workshop and secure storage space.
The custom specification has allowed RGL to be innovative in the way the operational areas have been designed. An example of this is the way services are provided to the benches. Services such as compressed air, electricity, CAT6 and fibre-optic data, satellite connection and fume extraction; are all housed in centralised pillars to which each bench is connected. The design incorporates a complete static-safe environment.
The façade of the original warehouse has also received a modern facelift.
